Wine of the Week: Foreign Affair Amarosé 2019

Autumn is officially here! I love drinking rosé in the fall and the Foreign Affair Amarosé is one of my favourites. The Foreign Affair is an Ontario winery in the Vineland area of the Niagara Peninsula. Their wines are amazing, but especially the Amarosé for the fall. Let’s start with the appearance – the beautiful orangey pink wine is bottled within the most Canadian autumnal looking label. This Amarone influenced Rosé is made with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Gamay Noir. If you ask me, the perfect wine combination for fall! The Foreign Affair Amarosé is a medium-bodied dry wine with elegant flavours of cherry, apricot and tart apple with a hint of spice. Pair with all your favourite fall foods like pork tenderloin, squash ravioli or harvest salads. You can find the Foreign Affair Amarosé at the LCBO or the winery online shop for $19.95. Cheers to kicking off the autumn season!
