New year, new wine! If you’re looking for a new red, then this week’s wine is for you. The 13th Street Red Palette is an Ontario wine from Niagara’s Twenty Valley. It’s made from 53% Cabernet Franc and 37%. This grape blend gives the Red Palette a medium body with soft tannins and balanced structure. And that means, an easy drinking red wine! The price tag on this wine also makes it pretty easy to drink…only $13.95 at the LCBO. And no need to worry much about food pairing – the Red Palette wine will go well with white and red meats, as well as tomato based pizza and pasta. In 2019 I encourage all my readers to drink more local Ontario wine and the 13th Street Red Palette is a great start!
Cheers!~GDW
